Proℹ️ How Device Activation & Subscription Works
When you Activate a device:
- A monthly subscription begins immediately.
- The first month's charge is applied at activation.
- The device becomes Active and begins transmitting data.
- Auto-renew is enabled by default and will continue monthly unless manually disabled.
When you Deactivate (turn OFF auto-renew):
- The device remains functional until the end of the current billing cycle (Device Access Until date).
- After this date, data transmission stops.
- No further charges will be made.
- You may reactivate at any time without incurring setup fees.
When you Reactivate a device:
- The existing subscription is resumed.
- Auto-renew is re-enabled.
- The device becomes Active and resumes data transmission immediately.
- You will only be charged if the previous billing cycle has ended.
Important Notes:
- You may activate or deactivate a device at any time.
- Charges apply only while the subscription is active.
- Deactivated subscriptions retain device linkage — you can resume without starting a new subscription.
Example Flow:
- Today: Activate → Subscription begins → $20.00 charged → Device Active
- After 5 days: Deactivate → Device remains active until billing period ends → No further charges
- After 3 months: Reactivate → Subscription resumes → Device Active → Billing continues
